Our Philosophy
Patient-Centered Care Is Our Priority
At Mobility Health Physical Therapy, we understand that every patient’s journey is unique. That’s why we take the time to develop personalized treatment plans tailored to your specific needs, goals, and preferences. By performing a comprehensive assessment of your body systems, we identify the root cause of your pain or mobility issues. Together, we design a plan to set you on the path to recovery, equipping you with tools and techniques to relieve pain and prevent it from returning.
Moreover, we recognize the important connection between physical and mental health. By incorporating strategies like motivational interviewing and goal-setting, we support not just your physical recovery but also your emotional well-being. This integrated approach fosters a positive mindset, helping you stay motivated and engaged in your healing process.
To ensure you receive the best care possible, we prioritize seamless communication with your broader healthcare network, including primary care physicians and specialists. By coordinating efforts, we deliver evidence-based treatments designed to work in harmony with your overall medical plan.
What to Expect
How a physical therapy session works
Knowing what to expect before, during, and after your physical therapy session can help you feel more prepared and confident in your recovery journey. Here’s a breakdown of a typical session, so you’ll know what you may experience in your session.
Before Your Session
Arrive wearing comfortable clothing that allows easy movement. Bring any necessary paperwork, previous imaging (if applicable), or referral notes.
The session begins with a brief check-in with your therapist. You’ll discuss how you’ve been feeling since the last session, any changes in symptoms, and your progress with home exercises or activities.
During Your Session
Your therapist may guide you through light exercises or stretches to prepare your body. They may also reassess your mobility, strength, or pain levels to gauge progress.
Depending on your needs, your session may include manual therapy, such as soft tissue massage, joint mobilization, or trigger point release, to address pain or stiffness.
Your therapist will guide you through specific exercises designed to improve strength, flexibility, balance, or coordination. These exercises target the root cause of your issue and are tailored to your goals.
Your therapist will explain the purpose of each intervention, provide real-time feedback on your movements, and teach you techniques to practice at home. This may include postural corrections, ergonomic tips, or pain management strategies.
The session typically ends with a cool-down period, such as light stretching or relaxation techniques, to help your body recover and prevent soreness.
After Your Session
You’ll receive instructions or updates on exercises to do at home to reinforce the session’s work and support your recovery between visits.
Your therapist will discuss your progress and any adjustments to your treatment plan. You may set goals for your next session and receive advice on staying active or managing your symptoms.
If necessary, your therapist may communicate with your other healthcare providers to ensure cohesive care.

Graston Technique/IASTM
The Graston Technique involves instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM) to detect and treat scar tissue and fascial restrictions. This method promotes tissue healing, reduces pain, and restores optimal function.

Preventing injuries is crucial for maintaining an active lifestyle. Our injury prevention programs focus on strengthening weak areas, improving flexibility, and teaching proper movement patterns to reduce the risk of injuries during sports and daily activities.

McKenzie Method
The McKenzie Method emphasizes self-care and active patient involvement in treating back, neck, and extremity pain. Our therapists guide patients through exercises and postural corrections to alleviate pain and prevent recurrence.
